In My Mailbox - January 19, 2014

Hey y'all! How've y'all been? It's been a good beginning of 2014 - hoping to keep up my Read in 2014 page regularly so it's not as overwhelming to update as last year! We had exam week last week and I got my license about a week ago so I've been "rewarding" myself with trips to Barnes & Noble and Inkwood Books, my favorite indie. Great for my book collection but not so good for my bank account. The best part of exam week is the hour left over after every exam that I just get to read during! I finished about a book a day during exam week because of breaks in our schedule. I've really loved some of the books I've been reading as well! I read some new ones as well as some rereads, as you might know if you follow me on Twitter.I have some exciting reviews, reveals, and other posts scheduled for January and February that I'm happy to post. Lacrosse season starts at the end of the month so I'm trying my hardest to get some posts in before I have practice every night (wish me luck)! Writing is going well as well as editing. In case you've never seen it before, In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by the fabulous Kristi at The Story Siren where bloggers and readers share the books they bought, received for review, or in other ways acquired. So without further ado, here are the books I've gotten recently. The Books:RoomiesThe Eye of Minds (The Mortality Doctrine, #1)How to LoveRoomies by Tara Altebrando and Sara ZarrThe Eye of Minds by James DashnerHow to Love by Sarah CotugnoThe Madman's Daughter (The Madman's Daughter, #1)It's Kind of a Funny StoryLove and Other Perishable ItemsThe Madman's Daughter by Megan ShepherdIt's Kind of a Funny Story by Ned VizziniLove and Other Perishable Items by Laura BuzoDefy (Defy, #1)United We Spy (Gallagher Girls, #6)Fade Out (The Morganville Vampires, #7)Defy by Sara B.
