In My Mailbox - November 2, 2014

Hey y'all!I’m here today to do In My Mailbox, a weekly meme previously hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren. Since she’s no longer blogging, it’s morphed into Stacking the Shelves hosted by Tynga’s Reviews. It’s where bloggers, authors, or readers post about the books they got in their mailboxes or somehow acquired that week.Last week, I was in Fort Lauderdale, FL for a lacrosse tournament and ended up going to a massive Barnes & Noble, where I got a few lovely-looking reads! Additionally, I bought an audiobook that I am very excited about - after getting hooked on audio over the summer while I had a concussion, I'm trying to keep it going. It's hard enough to read during the school year, but I'm really trying to listen to some too. Bright side? They're perfect for busy work.Without further ado, here's what I've gotten in my mailbox this week.B1YugacCQAA4Qtc

Blue Lily, Lily Blue by Maggie Stiefvater (audio narrated by Will Patton) | GoodreadsRites of Passage by Joy N. Hensley | GoodreadsThe Fall by Bethany Griffin | Goodreads

My current read is The Fall, in honor of Halloweekend, but I'm listening to Blue Lily, Lily Blue while I do my AP Lang homework. Aside from working (mostly on Latin and other academic classes), I've also been working on my NaNoWriMo project. Not sure what it is? NaNoWriMo stands for National Novel Writing Month, a challenge in which writers and authors write 50,000 words in thirty days. I've been doing it for three years and loving it; it's a great way to force yourself to get some words down and it's immensely gratifying. You can sign up here.

Back to work for me! I hope y'all all have a fantastic week - and I'll have a few posts up for y'all as well.
