In My Mailbox -- September 2, 2017

Hey y'all! It's Grace here to share some of the books I've gotten over the past few weeks. As you may or may not have noticed, I've been über busy with moving into Lexington and wrapping up some loose ends back in Tampa. (And I know these are normally done on Sundays, but I'm impatient to talk about them.)With that being said, I've also gotten some reads in the mail that have me hoping I'll carve out some reading time for myself during the insanity that is Orientation Week. I have lots of first years to meet and old friends to catch up with, so that might be harder to do than I'm telling myself. (The beginning of the year is so intimidating, y'all.)I read a ton of books at the end of the summer, so here are some posts coming your way:

  • Best Summer Reads
  • Midnight at the Electric review
  • I See London, I See France review
  • The Grind

and more! I've officially read 100 books this year, which was a wildly exciting milestone for me to hit because over the past few years, my reading count has steadily declined. I went from reading about 300 books when I first started the blog, to reading about 100-200 in recent years. Part of that is due to the caliber of books I've read -- like for class, or edited manuscripts, which tend to take me longer -- but it's still disappointing. In any case, here are some books I'm excited about, ones I've gotten lately.
