Grace's Halloween Reading List

Hey y'all! It's Grace here today to talk about Halloween. And reading.I love love love Halloween. Since I was little, it's always been one of my absolute favorite holidays. I used to plan my costumes out months in advance, wait anxiously for the 8 o'clock Halloween movies on Disney, and absorb all the spookiness so much. As I get older, it bums me out a little that I don't quite get to devote the same fervor to it - I don't have enough time to do that amidst homework and lacrosse and the craziness of my everyday life - but I try to read as many spooky books as I can.The whole point of Halloween is the mood. That dark thrill, the candy, the excitement of it. Y'all know my reading style, and while I gravitate towards poetic writing, there is nothing I love more than a gripping paranormal. Whether it's a cheesy vampire read or a haunting horror retelling, I can't get enough of it.This year, I'm going to give y'all a little extra: a reading list. These are some of the books I read to get psyched for the season and I hope y'all love them too!
