There's something achingly familiar about Daniel Grigori.Mysterious and aloof, he captures Luce Price's attention from the moment she sees him on her first day at the Sword & Cross boarding school in sultry Savannah, Georgia. He's the one bright spot in a place where cell phones are forbidden, the other students are all screw-ups, and security cameras watch every move.Even though Daniel wants nothing to do with Luce--and goes out of his way to make that very clear--she can't let it go. Drawn to him like a moth to a flame, she has to find out what Daniel is so desperate to keep secret . . . even if it kills her.Dangerously exciting and darkly romantic, Fallen is a page turning thriller and the ultimate love story.

This was darkly delicious and sexy. Although I read too many amazing books to have many favorites, this definately is high on the list. The romance was great and the setting was fantastic. I absolutely ADORED the characters, especially Arrianne. Personally, I absolutely fell in love with this book. However, I don't think that everybody will love this book. I know that I do, and that my friends do, but a lot of people hated it. Although, since this is my review, I get to say that it was incredible. No matter what some people say, I don't think that it was a redo of Twilight with fallen angels. I thought that the plot was fresh and original and a nice take on the late trend of fallen angels. The setting was beautifully described. The book had tension and an explosive climax that made it great. Lately, so few paranormal romances have great climaxes because they're all about love. This one had a spectacular climax that made my heart race and made me thirst for the next book.Recommended for anybody who loves: paranormal romance, boarding school books, dark fantasy, fallen angels, Hush Hush, Beautiful Darkness, Halo, etc,.Possible book club questions:Why do you think the shadows chose then to come out to Luce? Why do you think Arrianne was so interested in Luce? How do you think Arrianne got a tracking bracelet?Cam gives Luce a snake necklace. Do you think that this is biblically symbolic because of Eve's temptation by the serpent in the Garden of Eden?
