Top Ten Books I'd Save If (Insert Natural Disaster Here) Happened
Hey y'all! Welcome to Words Like Silver!Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by the Broke and the Bookish. (On a side note: I'm sorry for all the memes lately and lack of meaningful content. I've been super busy and stressed and I'm going to try to dedicate more time to my blog. Again, I apologize.)I'm going to cheat on this one. If I had to save any ten books, I'd save....
MY KINDLE! That way I could have ALL the books.
If y'all won't let me cheat, then I guess I'd do the following (many of which are regular guests on this particular meme because I love them so much).Revolution is incredible. The Probability of Miracles made me cry and have hope for the world.A Touch Mortal is fabulous, and signed.A Touch Morbid is personalized, and special to me because of the circumstances.Claire de Lune is signed to me.Shadowed Summer is signed to me.Sweet Evil is awesome (my favorite of the year so far!) and I want to reread it over and over again. The Death Cure is signed and James Dashner is one of my favorite authors. The Poison Diaries: Nightshade is signed. The Night Before Christmas - My family's copy is a battered, tattered old thing that has been in our family for a long time and I'd want to read it to my kids someday. I'd definitely save this.I can't even fathom how I would react if my books burned. Everybody in my class was watching my reaction in Language Arts while reading Fahrenheit 451 and I would probably start crying and grabbing all my books in a desperate bid to save them before saving anything else like prized possessions. My books are my babies. Gah, it scars me even just to think about losing them!
