Trailers: November

I decided to do a November trailer post because I didn't have time at the beginning of the month to feature November titles and they are fantastic. There are some gorgeous trailers, some scary ones, and all of which make you want to go out and buy the book! I'm also including another trailer because I'm an advocate for YA Sisterhood's YA Heroine Tournament. I'm up against Katniss first so wish me luck! And vote for Fire on December 9. I've created a blog for my campaign: The Girl Who Is Fire if you'd like to check it out. But I'm going to include another trailer for Katniss anyways, because she is pretty amazing and this trailer has been on everybody's minds. Go check out the advocate representing Katniss, Penelope at Reading Fever. Anyways, enough shameless advertising.November:Crossed by Ally Condie[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ovn8-Jp3ckM]

In the ruins of a place once known as North America lies the nation of Panem, a shining Capitol surrounded by twelve outlying districts. The Capitol is harsh and cruel and keeps the districts in line by forcing them all to send one boy and one girl between the ages of twelve and eighteen to participate in the annual Hunger Games, a fight to the death on live TV.Sixteen-year-old Katniss Everdeen, who lives alone with her mother and younger sister, regards it as a death sentence when she steps forward to take her sister's place in the Games. But Katniss has been close to dead before—and survival, for her, is second nature. Without really meaning to, she becomes a contender. But if she is to win, she will have to start making choices that will weigh survival against humanity and life against love.

Best of luck to all the contenders (although I really do hope that you vote for Fire!)
