Hi y'all—
Every so often, I get a request in my DMs (which I'm always happy to answer) asking for a book rec. I generally ask friends or followers what they love, what they know about their taste, and what they know they don't like—if anything. That triangle tends to give me a peek into what might be best for you.
Anyway, I do this all informally, so I decided that, while reconstructing my Words Like Silver weekly cadence, I might as well throw a book recommendations column in the mix. (I don't know why I haven't done this yet.)
So now, you can fill out the form below whenever. I'll sort through responses once a week and publish them alongside any questions. Like an advice column, but literary-ish. Let me know what you think!

When writing your recommendation letter, I'll link through my Bookshop affiliate, which is 10%, or Barnes & Noble, which is 3.5% of a sale—so I may get pennies or up to a whole two dollars for my effort.
Of course, I'd love if you'd consider supporting Words Like Silver in that way, but my main ask is just that you don't buy my recommendations from Amazon because it now owns over half of the print market and 80-90% of the eBook market, which has been awful for publishers, authors, etc,. and will absolutely trickle down to readers too. Keep our literary ecosystem healthy!
