Happy List for March—A Living Document
A running list of little joys and gratitudes making my month. (Squinty.)
Published March 3, 2025

Since starting this habit—a long-running one, personally, but at least visible on the blog itself—I do feel the need to inform you that I have an ongoing obsession with Suki Waterhouse's aura and a slight longing to embody her vibe, and she just actually launched a gratitude app. Kismet!
The practice is not itself groundbreaking (and in fact it's proven that taking the George Bailey effect of imagining yourself having lost everything is more effective in making you appreciate what you have), but I'm very curious about this one because you can make groups to share lists together—like a shared note app, but sweeter.
So, for example, you could make a list with a significant other, a best friend (like my sister, who texts one of her best friends a short gratitude list daily—each sharing three), siblings, others.
Depending on how the app rollout goes and how many people can join a group (is it like a broadcast channel? I have questions), I'm considering creating a Words Like Silver-specific one where readers could add small gratitudes too. But I'll keep this going because I appreciate the time capsule of a blog post, and prefer to have most of what I write on my own platform for posterity.
